Wow, first a load of great content now a great contenst. If i were lucky enough to win I would use it to put together a custom theme for a new blog I am launching (DiggerDesignLabs). The new blog will let others follow our development process, and accessibility work.

I have been trying to get the time to turn my own psd image into my web developers site for ages now, but never seem to get the time and certainly don’t have the experience to turn it into a cool system like wordpress, I would consider it an honour to be chosen to help me start to earn a living at what I love to do and help others learn the trade in my blogs.

  12. SteveB says:

I have to admit that our agency doesn’t have a presence on WordPress and needs one! It’s something our clients are starting to inquire about. This would be a great test and opportunity to get started.

  13. Kristi C says:

I have a design ready to go that I just cannot fully figure out how to convert into a WordPress-usable site. I also have the web hosting ready to go with 1-click WordPress install, and am building several other sites with themes so I have that process down. What’s missing is YOU! Please help a busy startup princess get her new site up and she would be honored to return the favor by writing about how this process can benefit other designers on my blog (design-for-users.com) and telling Twitter followers about this cool experience also. Thank you very much for your consideration!

  14. Kristi C says:

As a business owner/designer, I have been considering a service like this. I have recently begun utilizing WordPress and moved some of my blogs over, and have a new site designed now in Photoshop that I want to use as a WordPress theme, but don’t know how to accomplish it. If I won this contest & this process works well, this is another service I can offer through freshid.net, which would be awesome for my existing clients as well as potential clients. I would also want to return the favor by blogging about this experience and how much it can help designers, at my design-for-users.com blog, as well as spread the word to my Twitter followers, many of whom are designers. Thanks for offering this contest! I had not been to your site before I saw this mentioned on Twitter but will definitely be back, and when I get some products released that are in development, will possibly take advantage of the advertising options – you have a wonderful thing going on here. Thanks for considering me for the contest!

P.S. Apologies if this is a second entry. I wrote one and submitted it, but it never showed up on the page.

  15. @Kristi: Seems your comment was stuck in the queue. It’s there now ;) Thank you for the kind words! Good luck in the contest! :)
