We Want YOU to write for us!

Looking for contributors to our Web Design Magazine!

What’s in it for YOU?

  • We pay hard cold cash!!!
  • Over 1.5 MILLION page views in October! Got a product or service you’d like to promote to other web designer?
  • With each article you do we include a 4-5 sentence biography of yourself, along with a picture if you wish.
  • Up to 4 links in each biography.
  • Need more traffic, write as often as you’d like!

How does it work?

It’s simple….First, you need to get in touch with us by emailing jack@thewebsqueeze.com. Don’t worry if you don’t have a solid idea, we can brainstorm this with you.  Once both us and you are happy with the subject, we’ll then work out the specifics – the date we can expect the article from you (don’t worry too much about this, we’re pretty lenient with our deadlines) and also the price we will pay you – you’ll need a PayPal account for this.

How do I format it?

The best way you can do it is send it in plain text, in the .txt format and attach it to an email, which you then will need to send to jack@thewebsqueeze.com once again. There are a few things to bear in mind:

Images

Save all images as ‘img1′, ‘img2′ and so on. It does not matter which format you choose (although please do be wary of file size, but they must all be the same type – this makes it easier for us. In your text file, where you wish to include an image, add the line:

<img src='/web-design-news/page/2/img1.jpg' alt='Image 1' />

Code

For blocks of code, you should use square brackets with the language type inside of them, such as [ html ], but without the space between the square brackets and the text. Similarly, use an ending tag to denote the end of your code block. Inside the square brackets you can use: php, js, html, css. (if there is another language you need to use please ask us and we’ll tell you what to use)

Headings

Articles work best when they are split into sections. Key headings should be done in H3 headings (

...

) and sub-headings should use H4 headings (

...

)

Any Rules?

We ask that the content be 100% original and must not have been published anywhere else. We will allow you to repost it on your own site 24 hours after it went live on our site. If needed we will make small edits, but any big problems and we will contact you once again. Please make sure you test your code, as if it does not work there is no way it’s going to be accepted.

If you have any questions feel free to email us or leave a comment and we will get back to you. Hope to see your article published here very soon!
