Are The Best SEO Packages Link Wheels?

We’ll skip the briefer on SEO, and dive right into the newest trend in SEO link building — “linkwheels“. I’ve been reading stories from readers tell me how they’ve gotten first page results in less than a month using a technique known as a “link wheel”. We know that backlinks are key to ranking higher on Google, but how are the backlinks generated from a link wheel any different than what we’ve already been taught?

What is a Link Wheel?

A link wheel is a link building process incorporating multiple link sources, with each of the link sources interlinking to each of the properties.

A typical link wheel has around 50 total properties laid out like this:

20 blogs
15 article sites
15 web 2.0 sites

So first, let’s define these different types of links. A blog is obvious, you’re reading a blog now.

Article sites are repositories online that house numerous articles about everything. A great example is eZinearticles.com.

A web 2.0 site is a site that lets anyone create their own blog/mini-site within their own site, typically using a subdomain. A great example is wordpress.com. Anyone can get their own blog, ie myownblog.wordpress.com.

How Link Wheels Are Inter-Linked

You have a total of 50 sites, each of these sites is going to interlink to each other, and each of these different sites we refer to as “spokes” of a larger link wheel.

So now that we know what goes into a link wheel, to actually create the link wheel, you want to do the following:

1. Write a 200 word article on each of those 50 sites
2. Within the article, you want to include 2 links
3. One link points to another randomly selected other of your 50 links
4. Your 2nd link points to your “money site” or the site you want to rank

Following those steps, your money site is going to get 50 quality, relevant backlinks. And each of your “spokes” is going to have a quality, relevant link.

So in total, you have built 50 super-quality links to your money site, all maintaining white-hat practices and ensuring your site is getting the best links from different sources.

Who to Choose for Link Wheels?

Unless you have a penchant for banging the keyboard incessantly, I bet you don’t want to crank out 50 200 word articles by yourself. And why should you? The power of the Internet is outsourcing, and sharing a workload.

So that’s why we have a great recommendation for a link wheel provider who can help you get stellar results without you getting carpal tunnel.

As with anything, we always want to see someone who can walk the walk and talk the talk. So if you do a search for “link wheel”, we want to work with the provider that’s on the 1st page.

SEOLinkWheelers.com, one of the first results, and if you count all the references, they have more than 3 search results on the 1st page alone.

Also, if you look for their discount window from Shoemoney.com, you can save $50 off your link wheel package.

Is this the shape of things to come? Shall a once-respected magazine become the Whore of Babylon?

I’ve never before seen such a shameless article on TWS. You’re in bed with seolinkwheelers.com, flagrantly cramming in links to them, yet the article pretends to offer an unbiased recommendation.

I understand you need to make money from TWS, but this is an ugly way to go about it. It’s deceptive, tacky, and contemptuous of your readership: by publishing such manipulative bilge, you imply that your readers are gullible enough to swallow it. Do you not feel dirty?

The new management has made an inauspicious start. Reputation is difficult to acquire and effortless to squander; in my eyes, your integrity is on probation.

    • Mike,

They probably are part of seolinkwheelers.com and using this site as a “spoke” to aid SEO ranking ;)

Having never visited TWS before I found your comment extremely interesting and certainly questioned the purpose of the site. It clearly use to deliver high quality content to provoke such a response.

  2. Mike, thanks for your feedback, it’s definitely appreciated. As the new management, let us know how we can handle this better.

  3. Jamus, who does your blog comment posting for you?

  4. Actually, I don’t think a wheel is really desired, it’s sort of defeating the purpose of creating links isn’t it? How are the users supposed to find the page you want them to end up at (the money page) ? If it’s purely for links, why do you need legible content, bookmarking ain’t what it used to be.

I’m really loving the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A number of my blog audience have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any solutions to help fix this problem?
