The Eagle Has Landed - Young Internet Alliance is Formed!
Hello

Following on from my previous post, and taking on board your comments, the UK Young Internet Alliance has now been officially formed.

To sign up, visit our temporary site at
http://www.vibrantcolour.co.uk/ukyia/

Please bear with me while I sort out the domain transfer.

You will receive a numbered logo to display on your site, and a listing in our members directory, grouped by county.

We are also looking for a few members to join first who want to have an involvement and 'steer' the Alliance to make it something people will recognise!

If you would like to join, please register using the form, and when accepted tell us you'd like to help.

So - the rules are:
Any designer or coder or do-it-all under 22 can join, and can stay until they are 25.
All members must provide a real name to us.
All members must have a live website.
All members must have a publishable email address.
All members must abide by the code of conduct.

Thanks to everyone who has shown their support for the idea.

The picture doesn't show up in the members area. That might be important? Good Idea, I'm not in the UK though.

Linda, not so sure about that claim of yours. No need to lie about your age!

Glad you took our comments on board! The site looks good, a very appropriate design. I wish you well with it.

Nice like the idea, like the rule where you can stay for 3 years. It will help members stay with you longer.

Interesting site.

Well then hide it, lol.

Great site, but its completely table driven, can't wait to see the div and css replacement.

Sign up anyway! There are many of us who are this age, I myself am 16 and it hasn't stopped people 'hiring me' as such!

If you get one job from it, it will be worth it!

Craig et al - you'll be pleased to know the site is tableless! (not all pages yet, but most!)
