I'm mainly a developer although I also design a bit. I can't really call myself a designer though so just developer.

hehe, I'm a developer....

My design ability sucks.... I always get friends to help me with that.

I do both, although a developer by trade, I am getting more into design as I expand my skill set. Also, even thoguh I get emplyed as a developer, I'm being asked more and more about design elements of a site.

Thanks Simon! :yahoo:

I actually started off as a designer & learned to program because I was freelancing... like you said the more you know the better!

It's awesome to know both with Flash too as you're not limited to just the timeline or just the code.

I'm a developer. I much prefer to play around with a programming language than photoshop.

I just don't have an artistic mind.

And Simon, have you seen this thread anywhere else before? :P

Both, although I prefer the development side of things to the design. Graphical work taxes my already over-worked and under-developed brain!

I'm more of a web Applications developer... I like building HUGE applications... Its fun :D. I do design work and development work as well as SEO work. If i'm going to be honest though and I have to chose between a design job and a developers job... I'd go with developer :D.
Currently Available for work: - XTHML, CSS, Flash, Actionscript, PHP, ASP, Ajax -

I was a designer until I needed some programming done for one of my sites. After I paid about 1000 bucks for a fairly complicated PHP/database project, I tore the whole project apart and learned PHP by dissecting it. Then I rebuilt it with a tenth of the code and it ran about twice as fast. I'm still regretting that check I signed, but at least I know PHP now.

Photoshop, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and XML for me :D It is nice that I rarely have to pay someone to do part of a job for me.

*hugs* :friends:

Anyway, I do both, but at the moment i'd say 80% developing. If "delegating" was an option, i'd choose that. That's my favorite occupation! That's what i try to do most of my working days. :)

I still chose "both" by the way.

This is such an easy question for me. Designer 100%! I love color, artistry, design and everything that goes with it.
I do not like developing other than XHTML/CSS. Now that I'm css proficient, I don't long for the past and using tables!

I'm actually branching out more into branding, logo design, as well as lots and lots of product label designing, product sell sheets and brochure design. That end of my business has taken off in the last 12 months.

:dance3: :dance4: :dance3:
So when all of you guys finally come out with that "easy to use" CMS, I'll be your first customer!

That's not bad. If you're the first, it just means you get all the testing crap :D
