My Content
I once worked as a professional web designer, but no longer. Now I make websites for myself.

Specifically, I've been working on a badminton coaching website: The Badminton Bible. The site has become popular, and I hope to squeeze an income from it in the not-too-distant future.

My approach to web design is to think of the user first. This can be surprisingly difficult, because of a peculiar intracranial parasite called Ego that is endemic in the web designer population. I've been taking my anti-Ego pills for a while now, but still suffer relapses since the parasite can never be entirely destroyed.

I have poor-to-moderate graphical design skills, and weak programming skills (javascript & PHP). On the other hand, I have an unusually deep understanding of HTML and CSS; and in particular, I am knowledgeable about semantic markup choices and accessibility.

My real speciality, however, is writing. Web design is of secondary importance to me; what I really care about is web publishing.
