Did anyone use the new version of WAMP?
I am currently using WAMP5 and I was about to change to the latest version which is the WampServer 2 I know the new features where you can select which version of PHP, Apache or MySQL to use.. What I don't know is.. does the SETTING remain the same as WAMP5? One more thing, If I am going to install this new wamp thing, I just have to backup my "www" folder (where all my PHP page are) right? Anything else? Cheers... QUOTE WampServer 2 is the new version of WAMP5. You can find old releases of WAMP5 on the SourceForge website.http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php#

Thanks simon! I use wamp server all the time for php testing. It is a GREAT tool. I love it. It allows you to save a file your working on and click refresh in your browser to view instead of the other way of uploading to your server every time. -------------------- CSS is amazing.

Yes i do have the new version, its ok, nothing to go nuts about. The only difference that I've noticed is that the index page has been redesigned, other than that I can't really tell the difference between this version and the last. -------------------- |
