Hi all,
I am trying to add an image to a shape and am struggling a little bit. Basically I have a picture of a person. To this I want to add a thought bubble and in ths I want to add an image. As in it looks like the person is thinking something. Another thing is, I have found how to draw the shape of a thought bubble from the shapes in CS2, but the little bubbles below the main thought bubble are left to right. Can I make these go from right to left, and maybe also have the bubbles upsidedown? I have searched the web for tutorials but haven't found a solution yet. Any help would be great on this. -------------------- Finally squeeezin!!!!

This will only show a 'thought bubble' amount of the image. -------------------- |

Is there a better way to upload an image to the site than the way I have?? That should be just fine I am trying to add an image to a shape and am struggling a little bit. Basically I have a picture of a person. To this I want to add a thought bubble and in ths I want to add an image. As in it looks like the person is thinking something. In your screen shoot, you have successfully done this right? I didn't really understang what do you want Another thing is, I have found how to draw the shape of a thought bubble from the shapes in CS2, but the little bubbles below the main thought bubble are left to right. Can I make these go from right to left, and maybe also have the bubbles upsidedown? Yes you can, just select the layer (bubble) and select the Free Tranform menu from the File menu! You can do flip vertically, horizontally, 90 degree clockwise etc... -------------------- Monieweb.com - So much to learn, so little time!

QUOTE I have the bubble there, but my problem is adding an image inside the bubble to make it look like an idea/thought/dream Ok, select the bubble layer by CTRL+Clicking the bubble shape layer, not the color. You will see the dotted line is shown in your bubble outline image. Now click on your image layer. Click the Select menu and choose Inverse, and click delete! Walla...!!! Its done! Cheers... -------------------- Monieweb.com - So much to learn, so little time!

By the mean time, I'll try to do something here to show you what I mean
Gimme a couple of hours... Does the bubble thing is your final pick? It's too simple tho.. Try google for bubble thought -------------------- Monieweb.com - So much to learn, so little time!

Hi Monie & Jason,
See my comments below Can you not use the method I have suggested? Jason, I am not 100% sure how to do what you suggested. Can you explain more please Ok, select the bubble layer by CTRL+Clicking the bubble shape layer, not the color. You will see the dotted line is shown in your bubble outline image. Now click on your image layer. Click the Select menu and choose Inverse, and click delete! Walla...!!! Its done! Cheers... Monie, I have tried this perfect, it clears the picture around the bubble. Thanx Now how do I get a line around the bubble itself?? -------------------- Finally squeeezin!!!!

Now how do I get a line around the bubble itself?? Add a stroke.. In your layers-window there should be an icon with the letters "fx" at the bottom. Click on there and a popup will open. Select "Stroke" (click on the word, don't use the tick-box alone) and edit it to your needs. -------------------- |
