Problems with your HTML?

Try these options before posting:

1. Search the forum. You might not be the only one with that same problem and the solution might have already been posted.
2. Did you check The Web Squeeze? We have articles and tutorials that might help.
3. Check the stickies in this forum.
3. Validate your CSS and Markup (HTML or XHTML) before posting.
4. Make sure you have a full and valid DOCTYPE.

* Numbers 3 and 4 are very important. If your code is full of errors from the start, it is harder to go through and try to find the erroneous code. Validating and adding the doctype will help us to give you a more prompt reply.

Still have a problem with that mark-up?

1. Provide an appropriate title for your post. Something that sums up the problem you are having. Something that is descriptive as this helps members to determine if they can provide help. This also allows for better search results. Titles that we don't like to see include "Help, I have a problem", "Quick, urgent help needed" or "wtf, my code isn't working".
2. Explain the problem as clearly as possible. Mention which browsers you have tested it in and in which you are seeing a problem.
3. Provide a link. If you don't have hosting set up yet, there are plenty of Free Hosting providers out there. A popular, no hassle choice is Freewebs.
4. If you have code you would like to post, please put it in [ code ]...[/ code ] tags!
5. DO NOT double-post your question. It will only be deleted!
6. Be patient! This in an international forum. Members come from all over the world. Some may be sleeping when you are posting your question.
7. Do not hijack other members' thread. Create your own.

Still no replies?

1. If you don't get a reply after 24 hours, it may be that your question was not precise enough or vague. Reply to your own thread and try using other words to describe your problem.
2. DO NOT double-post to gain attention! It will be deleted.
3. If you found the solution yourself, please post it! This will help others that face the same problem have an answer.

Happy posting! hi.gif good.gif
