It doesn't seem to have a footer - is it meant to be like that?

Nice color theme!
A little bit problem with the navigation there! Make it (the active button page) different from the inactive page button.
Do you get what I mean smile.gif

Cheers...

I don't think the blue for the content area works very well at all. Bronze and blue? Doesn't really do it for me I'm afraid.

I would suggest going for white in the content area and also white for the trimmings in your header.. As Daniel suggested, it looks like the page hasn't loaded correctly because there is no footer sad.gif

The :hover gradients you have on your top navigation bar doesn't look right either, you might want to consider "boxing" these in so whatever background image you use doesn't look so small.

I love the silohette graphic and the design is nice at the top.. Just those points I would look at smile.gif

I'm sorry bit most of my thoughts are of a critical nature, please just take with a pinch of salt!

Since you have the figure (which just reminds me of an ipod ripoff) it makes the centered design, not so centered, and it just looks stuck in the page! Either left align it, or have the main content centered, and have the silhouette appear to be further right.

I also don't like the color scheme, and think it needs to be reworked, along with with hover effects on the menu.

Nothing to me shouts web design on this site, which is worrying since this is what you are trying to sell. A mistake which I see time and time again, is that you need to target your clients when wording your site. You don't need to impress designers, with technical jargon, we aren't your target audience, focus on the needs of the market, and engage with them to explain why they need to hire you and what you can do for them!

Hope this helps,

Craig smile.gif

Ok, I think you have the start of a good site. The color scheme would work fine if there was more to the website.

In web design it's very important to focus on the "body" of the website, where the content goes. Right now the body of the site is very bland and doesn't capture or keep my attention.

Don't be afraid to look at a more successful competitors website and see what they are doing that "works" to gain ideas for your own style.

If you're going to keep the "shadow girl" then make use of the space below her, and definitely add a footer. You have a beginning and middle but no ending.

Overall this site could work... with a lot of work.

I wouldn't for accessibilities' sake wink.gif

The outline is an important part of making your site accessible to those with visual disabilities smile.gif

CSS is invalid and there are loads of JS errors.

Photoshop filters galore on that top banner! No footer? It just kinda... stops?

Speaking of the header graphic... It should be an h1 (the ONLY h1 on the page), and should be clickable to take you back to the home page. The logo is generally the first thing I click on when viewing a website to go back home.

The navs padding on top/bottom is different -- there's much more on the bottom than the top.

There's this fat brown line where the content area seems to be breaking under the girls feet that goes all the way across the content area... then the blue continues.

Current page indicators... Where are they? I know you have header on each page (h1?? these should be h2s.) dsignating the current page, but there's no indication of what page you're on in the nav.

The huge "Portfolio" type on the right looks outta place. Way too big, and there's nothing seperating that right sidebar from the rest of the content except for a little bit of padding.

Visual aid from page to page is lacking. It's just text. You have that big girl thing on every page, but what does that have to do with web design/development? If this was a club site this might work, but I dunno.

I'm sorry but the colors just aren't doing it for me. That brown background, is just the wrong shade... It looks very washed out. Making the brown a richer, more contrasting color, should really make your content area come out as well.

I hate to be overly critical, but wish you the best!... oh and giving away free websites (described on home page)! You're crazy! wink.gif

Slightly increase the size of your titles and add a bit more padding below them.

From a business perspective I would change the technical page for services.

Finally the brown gradient behind the navigation doesn't work very well. Change it for blue or something else.

I think you shouls make more of your portfolio. a seperate page for each project, with full description of the work, code used, length of project and cost.

In its current stat it is more like a gallery, rather than a portfolio

Ok.. I'm going against the others. The good news: I LOVE the color scheme! It's really unique in my opinion.
The bad news: I don't understand why the girl is there. This looks more like a Juniors clothing store site than a web design site.

I think if you could come up with a tagline to place in the header that explained what you are as a business so that I can figure it out within one or two seconds it would be better. I don't know how you could word it to make the girl make sense.
Web Designing with WOW Power! Ok.. that's lame but that should help you understand what I'm trying to explain.

Make your limited time offer stand out more by putting a border around it. Right now it just sits there and I thought you wanted to design sporting sites but did have an athlete anywhere.
A little confusing all around.
