Just finished the new design a few days ago.

The code should be valid, but the Wyzz editor sometimes gives out Valid code. If you spot an error, tell me and I can fix it biggrin.gif

Just do your thang!

Love the new design, loads better than the previous one biggrin.gif

I think having the current page underlined would be a good idea, there is a good tutorial on your blog if i remember correctly wink.gif

the 'folio looks a bit out of place on your navigation, i would maybe consider changing the other links to lower case if you want to keep the abbreviation.

I like the layout of the homepage as well, really nice way of setting it out, what i would consider is aligning the January and February to the right, as where they are now they look like part of the archive list.

overall very nice design really like it

just two things:

  1. Love the logo, what font is this?
  2. It's all valid code I've found

Its Dark, my old laptop screen struggles to show the difference in color between the foreground and background.

I can't help but feel that you could do more with the navigation. Instead of a black roll over have a box, something similar to what this site has.

There are parts of your website which are not padded. Under a single post 'Comments:' and several other things are not padded at all. Its the same with the About Me title.

I am not keen on what you have done with 'RECENT POSTS'. I dislike the the archives section. Particularly the 'FILED UNDER' and 'BY MONTH'.

Thanks Craig. I'll find the font for you later.

Jason - I'll do more with the navigation, thanks.
I'll add some more padding.

What's wrong the with the RECENT POSTS bit? Also, I really like the Archives bit lol. Have you any suggestions to what might look better?

OK, recent posts could do with a little more padding beneath the title. With the Archives, I can see what you are trying to do, I just can't help but feel that it could be done better. Maybe reduce the size of 'filed by' and 'by month' by a few pixels

Thanks, I've added a bit more of a gap between Recent Posts, and I'm about to size down the images.

I like the layout. Although it's been said, the site could really use some color. I think if you added some color to some of the elements on the page it could change a good design into a great design. Also, the font could use some styling. Right now it just sits on the page. Try styling it a bit to make it flow better. Especially the headings.

I would also try to keep font sizes similar. The font size in the blog section is small while the font size in the recent post section is all in caps and seems out of place.

Good Luck,
Scott

Thanks for looking for the font wink.gif

just one thing, the "filed under" and "by month" are different sizes, is this intentional?

Both as reported by FF, and the special tests bar. I can't think of it's proper name at this moment.

I like the page colors, I too like the logo font. Noticed it right off when I visited your site this morning.

A little plain, and the text needs some font changes and needs layout consistency.

1/5 A low rating because of the lack of some sorta of fluency in the page. I mean the way the page is has potential but I can't figure out what I'm supposed to be doing with the links on the bottom etc.
