Ahhh, good question. Let's take The Web Squeeze as an example. We get quality links when we create articles and tutorials that are relevant to the sites purpose, and that our users want to see. Which in return they link to us, or blog about us.

So having good content is a great way to do that. But what about for the sites that are just starting out? Perhaps you could contact the author of some relevant websites and ask for a link, or purchase a link/advertise.

Absolutely, content creation is the best way to get high quality links. Another way (if you're a blogger) is to write guest posts for other blogs, I spose this still falls into the content-creation category, but in a different way smile.gif
