Hi
It's been a long while since I've posted here. Haven't been doing too much of the web stuff lately as my job has taken a bit of a different direction lately. However after scrapping an old design for my companies website because it was causing me a billion and one headaches while also looking completely outdated I thought I'd try something simpler, easier and cleaner.

It's still not tweaked 100% or even 80% but I want to get rid of some of the bugs that are annoying me most before getting bogged down on refining things more.

Anywho to the problem at hand!

My navigation text looks pretty well vertically centred on its little blue strip in all browsers (not 100% perfect but close enough) except for IE. In IE it looks pretty much stuck to the top of the little blue strip, confusing me somewhat.

I tried simply using a padding-top command in the IE only stylesheet however this made the drop downs unusable as they were also pushed down.

View the page here.

Thanks in advance!
