Let me start with your blog

I like the color's but the widgets on the right are not fitting in to the design. ( might be me)

The website: Very colorful. It's just there if it's too colorful. There are few colors that don't mix that well like the bright blue. Looks a bit too messy. Maybe just concentrate to few colors like the orange, orange is always cool, and leave the green and blue out. Blue is ok on the "buttons" though.

It's a bit weird having website showcased on the top. I clicked few times on the navigation of the showcase website without realizing your navigation was far lower. I would move it away from the top or make it very clear that it's just an image and not your website. On porftolio page the green is just too much, I would leave it out totally. Green + Grey = Not good.

The blog is basicly good but some color issues there too. I would leave the blue out and concentrate to grey/orange theme you have. Basicly the site is just too much. It has too many strong colors for my taste and it feels too overwhelming. Basic structure is pretty much ok besides the showcase website on the top so just tweaking the colors you could make it.

the colours on your web site work, as they aren;t used much, they are only used for emphasis / bring focus to something.

however on your blog you seem to have gone overboard. it is sensory overload, and I don't know where to look.

Calm it down and it will be a nice blog

I really want to like your blog and to be honest I nearly do. Firstly, i clicked on the Persian link and was swiftly stuck.. an English link back would be good. Your dates need rounded blue corners. I think your content would be improved with black text on a white background. Currently it looks like a hollow box.

Your header... it should link back to the blog page. I am not over struck on the 'weblog' text however this may just be personal preference.

Colors.. to be honest I don't think they are overboard.

In my eyes it is a couple of tweaks away from being a really nice site.

about white color, i have seen many sites with white background color, is it really hard to focus on text and read it ? i think the contrast between text and background is good for reading, also i think it wouldn't hurt eyes while reading, don't agree ?

This forum doesn't hurt my eyes and it is black on white.

The point was more to do with the fact that the background for the content was the same as the background for the webpage. You are creating a box with the blue borders, it just looks odd that this box doesn't have a different color to what is behind it.

im not much of a blogger but i say it was pretty decent, but the site, you almost used too many colors. I like the look and feel, it was different but in my overall opinion i liked it

I have two suggestions for your portfolio Some of the images in the header image/animation bother me because they seam to be cut off. I would work on the animation more, think about composition of the images in relation tot he rest of the page.

I also would suggest getting rid of the center-alignment on the text in the center of the page.

I have one suggestion for your blog, you might want to play around with the fonts and text sizes a bit. The text in the blog posts seams a little large, while the links seam very small and difficult to read.
