This is a mock up for a company that provides info ninja fighting and sells projects. I have uploaded three different ones. Now do what you do best.

To be honest: the 1st and 3rd are horrible.. they lack color and style..
the 2nd one is a step in the right direction though. It looks more intuitive. I'd leave more space between the header and the menu, and don't center the welcome text.. I'd work with the second! -------------------- |

I have to agree with Mark. The only thing that I would add to what he has already said is that I'd also add a little more white space above and below the welcome paragraph.

I'm in agreement with the last two posts.
#2 is the one to work with.. I believe Papyrus font was used on the 1st and 3rd and should be an illegal font in my opinion. Overused in the 90's. blah. -------------------- The Squeeze Shop is OPEN! I just ordered my awesome shirts! Did you?

Also agree with previous posts. Format the entire drive on which mockups 1 and 3 are located!
Definately go with number 2. Although this would also need work, it is showing potential. Good luck and looking forward to seeing a detailed mockup behind door number 2! -------------------- fresh-style.nl - small webdesign & development projects |

I recommend you take a look at some css galleries.
http://cssloaf.com/ http://cssmania.com/ http://faveup.com/ ... to name a few. Also, design to a grid. Your stuff is all over the place: This site has a lot of *very* helpful links: http://design.isinthedetails.com/ -------------------- |

What would you do with the header? Client says content doesnt matter but im not sure if that means pictures also. I would like a very ninja style theme going on..not go happy light colors something darker and ninja-er. haha. But any ideas would be apreciated. Thanks

Thanks One of my favourite sites => http://www.ninjai.com/ You might gather some ideas there on how to ninja it up. I would say centering text sucks as well. Try this... ask somebody to stand in front of you and with their eyes, look around in a perfect circle... like a circle 1 meter in diameter. Watch their eyes very closely. Watch how even though they try to go around in a perfect circle, the eye makes little jumps. Right? Try it yourself... see how smooth your eyes don't go. Now try it with using your hand as a guide. hold the hand out in front and make a circle while watching the point of your finger. Now observe how smoothly the eyes can move around. Try now speeding up how fast you go... you will notice that without your hand as a guide, your eyes make chunkier and chunkier motions... while with the hand, you can keep speeding up and you will maintain the flow / motion. Apply this understanding to design. Use guides... think about how eyes move around and the jumps they will make. Maybe have a read of this page => http://www.sheriftariq.org/design/align/ |

there site now uses black and red and like a script thing...i am supposed to be doing a complete overhaul. This is one of my biggest customers. their site is ninjadynasty.com . I was thinking maybe using dark colors for the ninja theme but some of the links used bright yellow and orange colors. Any more ideas would be apreciated.
