Hi,

I was wondering if an e-mail alert for new tutorials or news could be done for the site. I am on here most days, but sometimes it would be nice to know if there is a new tutorial, or news or the likes. Maybe it is here already. Something like interested peolpe would register for the alerts.

I tried posting in "Implemented Suggestions", but was stopped from starting a new thread.

It sjust an idea.

The "Implemented Suggestions" is a forum where we move threads over with suggestions that we have implemented wink.gif So ... yeah ... no posting in there tongue.gif

As for the email ... I thought we had an RSS feed setup for the main site? I'll make sure Jacob checks that ... I know on the new design, it's there.

Yes you can go to the home page www.thewebsqueeze.com and look in the address bar. There is an rss feed icon in it. Click it and you'll get notified via rss feed!

Yeah, but that location notifies everyone of all new posts, not just news. I could setup one that features TWS news like we have for the forum. Although, I believe he wants an email message. The closest thing we have to that is our newsletter which goes out every other month.

Rather than having to wait till the monthly newsletter, if a new tutorial or article is added, just ping an e-mail off to people who want them, i.e. are subscribed to e-mail alarts. I started to think about this after I read Vanessa's post saying that she wasn't around for awhile. As I said I try and get here everyday but not always.

I would never have found TWS only for an e-mail came into my inbox saying that you guys had started it up

Hmmm, well we do have RSS feeds that will let you know when a new item is posted on the main site. I'll see what I can do about setting up an email alert option for ya. wink.gif
