In Firefox it does what its supposed to but in ie it does something horrible. The site is http://kirbychurch.org .

Validate your code. You are not closing any of your unordered lists <ul>. This can wreak havoc in IE.

On validation it says you don't have character encoding. So look here for info on that.
Also you have some coding errors. I can't put my finger on the exact error, but some of your div's are either unclosed or you have extras.
Check your div's closely, make sure they are all closed. It looks like the content-wrapper div is not closed.
Div sidebar and div news look unclosed also.
