You can always hire copywriters to write copy for you.

If hiring outside help isn't an option then the only thing to do is practice! Write stuff, write some more and then some more. You don't have to publish everything. Just practice writing and it will come.
It's also important to read what you've written. What I usually do is write a chapter and then read it couple of times to see if it makes sense and to stop errors in it. One tip also is to outline what you are about to write. This way you can keep the focus on and you don't wonder writing stuff outside the subject. Marks some pointers what you want to say in just few words and follow that plan when you write. And don't forget to read others. Reading good stuff helps you write also better or that's what I believe. Hope these tips help you. -------------------- |

If you're not able/willing to pay, you have two options:
Learning to write is not as hard as it seems, although you cannot expect to become a brilliant writer overnight (actually, you'll probably never become a brilliant writer, but you can become a good one). Before you can write a page, you must learn to write a paragraph; and before you can write a paragraph, you must learn to write a sentence. Good writing requires adequate foundations; most people can't even write a good sentence. To start with, learn some basic grammar. You need to understand that the rules for writing are much stricter than for speaking; don't write as casually as you speak. Basic grammatical elements, such as capital letters and punctuation, are essential tools for you to master. There are plenty of helpful websites around -- just search google for "grammar". Once you become more confident, you should pick up a copy of The Elements of Style, by Strunk & White. This brief manual is the writers' companion; it has never been bettered, and remains a touchstone for many a professional writer. In terms of style, I can offer this simple advice: Be bold. Be brief. Be clear. |

It's SO annoying when people write a sentence like this: ok so i went to the grocery store yesterday and guess who i run into it was mike you know from the web squeeze it was awesome to talk to him about a lot of stuff like writing Put some smileys in there and it gets WORSE. So, use capitals, punctuation and avoid smileys as much as you can. -------------------- |

Post an add on gumtree. Ask for a student copyrighter to write you website content. Offer them a link on your website and STRESS what good practice it would be for when they take their profession into the real world.

Well i wrote some content on my site, not exactly the best but im not exactly very bright now am i. Don't be so hard on yourself. You did really well! This is pretty good writing. Your grammar is okay, and you get straight to the point. I also like that you speak directly to the customer ("I'm not happy until you are"). Try to avoid run-on sentences, where you join two sentences with a comma. The comma is not strong enough to link these two clauses together: QUOTE With all the web sites I code I offer the design side of things free, this is not only to save you as a client money but also to make the whole experience alot less stressful for you. You should use a semi-colon here, or a full stop: QUOTE With all the web sites I code I offer the design side of things free; this is not only to save you as a client money but also to make the whole experience alot less stressful for you. With all the web sites I code I offer the design side of things free. This is not only to save you as a client money but also to make the whole experience alot less stressful for you. A few more gotchas for you:

Yeah, that's not bad at all!
Keep it up, and keep challenging yourself. That's the best way to learn. -------------------- |

I'm confused, you specilise in Graphic Web Design yet you offer this service for free? What are you charging for the programming? I know a guy from India who will code up a 3 page site from a psd layout for $40. I would have to say that as far as price per hour goes html/css are among the most worthless skills to possess. If you are going to offer something for free it should be the coding. After all it is the design work that takes the time, effort and requires the designer to possess creative talent.
