Zone Alarm has been great! Very happy with it . I must mention I have Zone Alarm Security Suite and had to shut off the email junk mail filter because it's buggy and no known fix.

Its funny. My security suite is up for renewal (or out of date) in Dec this year. I have been looking around for a good suite. Sorry currently using BitDefender, which I don't like. I have to turn off to access certain things, google earth and thunderbird e-mail for examples. This is with rules set-up for these programs.

Anyway, I looked at Avast! and they are coming back with a good price for 3 years coverage (€57). I was thinking of going to Kaspersky, but at least I have a while to weigh up the options.

Crashes my net, stops firefox and internet explorer from working. Keeps blocking all my programs and this is on low security.

I've got Zone alarm now - no problems atm.

You tried putting Comodo on learn?

I never have any of those problems. You should have a scan, might be malware trying to connect online.

This thread could not have come at a better time because I just received my new computer with Vista Ultimate 64-bit and Zone Alarm does not work on it.
Thanks to Mark, I instantly downloaded Avast! So far so great!

Hey.. I run Vista Premium 64-bit, and so far (I'd never thought I'd say this, but) it ROCKS! Works better and is more stable than ALL my previous windows versions together.
