While looking at tutorials, there are a lot for actionsctipt 3, but also some that let you choose wether you want to learn 2 or 3.

What are the main differences between these, am i best of sticking to the latest version?

Cheers, Craig

AS far as I know actionscript 3 requires Flash CS3 to run.

I've got CS3 so that would be no problem, from that article there seems to be a few differences between 2 and 3, but as i don't know either, would it be a problem just learning 3?

If you are coming in to a new technology it is always better to pick up the latest version. The skills you learn will stay current for longer

If you are just learning Actionscript now, go with AS3. AS3 (Flash Player 9) is faster (as in execution time).
