It happens to me quite often that i submit a post and see a typo in it (although i use preview also before submitting). Then I quickly edit my post seconds after posting it. Is it needed that if the post is edited within x amount of seconds/minutes, that it still shows the "post has been edited" bit? Probably no one has even read it then yet (e-mail notifications aside).

It takes up space, and if you edit that quickly after submitting, it's probably not even useful information for other topicreaders.

What do you say?

(edit: lol, changed I to It.. typo) *sigh* biggrin.gif

- edit2: Now that i type that, maybe besides the "delay ignore", there could be a "reason for edit" field, where you can simply type "typo" or something.

I agree, perhaps the easiest way to fix this is if the edit time is within 5 minutes of the post time then the 'post has been editted' does not need to be displayed.

Unless a new reply has been added within those 5 minutes i think?
