I've looked for around two days to see why my navigation images won't show up unless hovering over them.. Can anyone figure it out? http://www.newbreedjesusfreaks.com/ is my site.

Try changing your links css to:

CODE
ul#nav li a:link, ul#nav li a:visited {
   background:#ffffff url('http://www.newbreedjesusfreaks.com/images/leftside.png');
   color:#ffffff;
   font-family:Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;
   font-size:10pt;
   text-decoration:none;
   background-position: left;
}
ul#nav li a:hover {
    background-color:#ffffff;
    color:#000000;
    font-family:Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;
    font-size:10pt;
    text-decoration:none;
}

Having a quick look, that is the only reason I can see..-- I haven't looked at your many other css files.

PS. Do you know that page load times will benefit from combining all your css files into one?

The way it shows now has nothing to do with that change biggrin.gif That would only come if you changed the way you styled your UL element.

You have 4 css files. Combine them into one, this will increase page load times.
