Here is my new problem... biggrin.gif

I tried to install the new WAMP Server 2.0b and host some of my "cool" web system to my colleagues.
Unfortunately... they can't them (usually by typing my pc name in their browser address bar will do just fine).

On of my colleague install XAMP and it runs fine.
What's wrong with my WAMP Server setting? I already put it online but still it makes my head sick!!!
I have no problem accessing them locally in my PC.

Anyone have a solution?
Cheers...

First I would check if there are any limitations for external access. htaccess, firewall, etc.

My company uses Window Server 2003, but how come XAMP works? We are in the same department.

Have you put it 'online'? By default Wamp runs in 'offline' mode, which only allows people to access it on the computer that it is running on. If not, you should see a little pad lock on the Wamp icon in your taskbar (it's a white semi circle), simply left click on it and select 'Put Online'.

Can't really tell then. Seems like a WAMP specific problem and I don't have any experience from that. If XAMP works then could you use that instead of wamp?
