Please find attached a screenshot of my forum so far, I just wanted general feedback whether the colour scheme I am working on looks ok, and fits the purpose of being a musical forum/website.

Any suggestions grateful!

Thanks
Craig

Oh a quick point to add, I haven't completed the header, that is just the start to what it will look like.

Hi Craig.. like the start of that header! Very attention getting even though it's not finished.

The green/gray combination is a little drab to me. I think I'd try for a more vibrant color.

Any suggestions on colour schemes then? because I am useless at them, and have tried numerous amount of colour schemes, and none I have liked as of yet.

Thanks
Craig

Erm, I don't really have a favourite colour, I would say that if I had to choose would probably be green!

But I don't want to pick what is my best colour, I want a colour that represents music really, as it is going to be a music forum/website. The bands vary from rock/indie to even dj's.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for them colour schemes.

Not a massive fan on them colour schemes, but I don't know, anyone got opinions on which they prefer? or any others.

Linda, which is your best colour scheme do you think? I would say mine was:

Rock bank is nice.

Some of the others were monochromatic and would give it a darker rock feel. Rock bank would be a happy place.

Don't choose Fcraft.. I don't know what I was thinking with those bold yellows.

Thanks for all your help and guidance, I will have a play around with these colours, and post back a screenshot of the new colour scheme.

I went on the look for a completely different colour scheme, as I used the one suggested, but didn't like it one bit, and I have created a new looking one, I prefer this one alot more, what do you all think about it?

Where it says view new posts, and so on, this will be white text eventually, just showing you it so far..
So what do you think?

First thing, you need to change the page title to match the site name, and get rid of the powered by stuff, which messes up your SEO.

Nice design! One thing you may want to reconsider is the white text on the black background. A few years back when I released a forum, I did exactly the same thing and I had a few people complain that due to their sight problems, they could not read the text properly.
