The way the I've been figuring out all this stuff is by using Firebug. If you've ever used it, you'll know that when you hover over a section of your code it highlights ....
So, when I highlight the section I'm looking to change, I can see the class it's been assigned and the code Hope this helps -------------------- a web design portfolio | web non-sense - REDESIGNED!

Yeah ... the Web Dev Toolbar is nice as well but you still about to look through the HTML, then go to the CSS.
With Firebug, it's all there in the same window. HTML on the left, CSS on the right -------------------- a web design portfolio | web non-sense - REDESIGNED!
