Mark threads as solved would be great otherwise threads will become confusing smile.gif

If you have it people won't mark. Admins/mods would have to. And people would expect that they would be solved.

If you don't, admins/mods don't worry about it. and people just forget about it. Solved is only helpful if your looking to help.

Nice to read and learn from other peoples mistakes tongue.gif

I didn't like it much either but at the end of the day the admins know best so if they want to implement it then I'm with it smile.gif

Suck Up sarcastic_hand.gif

Also people often ask a new question after the first question is answered.

I'd like a solved-message too.
If I'm looking for something specific, like an error-message, and I get to the forum through Google, It encourages me to visit that forum, because there's some one with the same error as I have, and THAT problem is solved..

I vote Yes smile.gif

My two cents, i also think it would be good, if you are going to be looking through a thread with 50/60 posts, it's good to know that you will get the correct answer at the end of it.

It doesn't take much effort for users to mark it as solved if you think about it, all they need are gentle reminders lol

It's coming, not right off. We have 4 more important mods to do first. As well as a few bugs to fix! I will see what we can do next week after things slow down some!

Nah, IPB is much faster, and built so much better. There are loads of pre-built mods for it, but we are trying not to used mods created by anyone else....as we want to know what is happening with out site.

I hope that the THREAD SOLVED is design in a much more creative way...
Maybe not with the text [SOLVED], perhaps a graphical indication, or a red flag for solved thread and blue flag for unsolved thread. You know, that kind of things...
Really nice to see some changes tho..

Anyway, I can't wait for WebSqueeze to fully operated in the maximum functionality biggrin.gif
But, take your time Jacob!

It would also be good if when a thread is solved it is closed as well. After all the question has been answered.

I disagree with the closing of the thread as someone else might know of a better, more efficient way to solve the problem wink.gif.

No ... we had already discussed this on the other forum and when we do the solved thing, threads will still be open for the simple fact that there is rarely 1 answer to every question. Also ... what if there's a "better" answer? The user posting the answer may be new to CSS for example and offers a very valid solution, however, someone with more experience could advise in a "better" solution wink.gif
