Hello everyone

My name is Robert I am living in a small town in the alps in Bavaria, Germany. I found this website using "stumble upon" and I like the style you are presenting yourselves it has a sort of personal, nice feel. Good!

I have been working for some time in various computer companies such as Dell and Gateway and started with a company called Digital Equipment (long ago) which was once the direct competitor of IBM before it was sold to Compaq and then all went to HP. I worked mostly in marketing and sales. 3 years ago I decided to step out of the "glamorous" sales business to start a real thing that is webdesign for me. I am running a small agency for design and marketing of websites, started only recently.

I am quite comfortable with HTML still learning CSS, but love it, and have recently started a Joomla page www.alpine-design.de. I am now concerned with php and mysql which will be the next projects to study.

I found some articles in here of how to approach potential customers very interesting and I am positive there is more to discover.

cheers for now
Robert
