Hi everyone,
My name is James, I'm a student at a private art school here in Dallas, Texas. I'm majoring in Web Development and Interactive Media, it's a 3 year accelerated bachelors degree. I'm almost halfway through the program. I know html and css like the back of my hand and I have taken about 8-10 graphic design classes, so I know Photoshop and Illustrator really well too. Other than that I'm clueless, I will be learning the advanced scripting languages in the next year as well as Flash. I've found that it's always good to have input from other designers/developers to get different ideas, so I figured I would find a community to share stuff with. I looked in a few different places, but most of them were way too big and impersonal. I thought the Web Squeeze looked good, not too many people, but enough to keep you coming back to see what's new. Glad to have you aboard. Glad to hear you're a design student (I'm not any sort of formal student at the moment, but I think I might start doing some kind of night design course). If you have any designs/art you wish to share you should post some in the Squeeze Bar. It's great to have some nice stuff to look at there and the replies are nice! |
