the page is called seller_search.php. When the form is submitted its action says 'seller_search.php'. So basically this script is somehow taking the URL and changing it. However I cannot see where or how it is changing it. Could someone tell me how it is writing the URL without using JavaScript, php header functions or form action locations...
URL is changed from seller_search.php?subtype=BG_LISTING to seller_search.php?subtype=BG_LISTING&city=®ion=&country=&search=Search Code Removed
Reason for edit: changed the [ code ] to [ codebox ]

The method of the form is GET so any variables from the form are simply appended to the URL query string attached to the action when the form is submitted.

Didn't even think about that. So obvious. Thanks Just a side note. You can clean that up while preserving the data using URL rewriting. http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum92/2545.htm I am by no means informed about this but it's still quite interesting. Plus if you use a framework like CakePHP then it will do that for you |
