I'm trying to create a new layout for my personal blog, and I want it in 2 languages. I'd like the front page to look like the attachment, so I want 2 category-views next to each other.. Does anybody know how I do that?

Could you just specify different includes for the different collums if you get what i mean, would this work?

That's what I thought, but what are the right includes for 2 different categories?

This must be a PHP question right?
Are you hoping to get PHP to automatically post into two columns?

I think this is a Rakuli or Jan question..

Well.. If you click on "Categories" on a WP-site, you'll be taken to a list of posts in that category. I want that, but I want to show 2 categories in 2 columns on 1 page..

Hey, that's a pretty cool idea!

I'm not much of a Wordpress modder, but I'm sure this is possible. Once you have the layout, I would start by looking if there are any plugins that can do this, otherwise check out the documentation on creating your own plugins on the WP site.

If you have any specific questions I'd be glad to help, but like I said, I have no experience with WP modding, maybe i'll check it out if I can find the time.... otherwise good luck wink.gif

I would say that you would need to write a plug-in which display's a second textarea for create post/pages etc. This would mean that the same post could be stored in multiple languages. Allowing you to call one post and display multiple versions of it.

Something like this.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/basic-bilingual/

Another Option.

I looked into the links Jason provided and decided to look a little further. I found another plugin, which works really well. I translated 2 posts and will translate them from now on. If you're interested in my/our personal life, check: http://markenjenn.allura.nl
