I need to switch servers, and my current one has a mysql database on it. The problem is, my current host doesn't have php myadmin. How can I download my database so that I can move it? Any help would be great.

You could use PHP:

You can also download the trial of SQLYog (http://www.sqlyog.com - my favorite DB tool). It'll take your database and convert it to an SQL Dump, save it on your machine, then connect to your new database and import the dump. It'll probably take a while depending on how big your database is, but it works nicely.

Ask your host to make the backup.. It's yours, so you have the right to download it. If they don't give you a way to download it, it's their problem..
