I didn't want to hijack the other similar thread so I created a new one.

I'm wondering if the following is possible. I'm farmiliar with how to create a css nav that has a hover and selected state... like the one on WebSqueeze, but I'm wondering if it's possible to also have a onClick style dropdown with out using JS.

Any good tutorials for this?

Thanks.

No, IE6 CSS support will not allow a drop down to function properly without a little bit of Javascript.

CSS doesn't allow a click on, click off style. You can have :hover and :active effects. But for a click you will need to use some Javascript.

I gotcha.

Is there a good tutorial that shows how to adjust this type of nav... HSPfan.com so there can be, e.g. 4 sub menus under a couple of the options.

I haven't seen any tutorials that use jpg css navigation. I feel that if I adjust the positioning to show the sub menu, it won't stay visible when someone goes to select it, since it's no longer hovering.

Right now if you click on Episodes or Players it bring you to a page that allows you to select a season, but I think it'd be more convenient to have a submenu appear directly from the navigation.

Any helpful links?
