That's definitely a valid point to bring up... I'm a huge animal lover (and activist). The efelant here seems ok, but you obviously can't tell unless you're there and involved. I saw a video just yesterday actually of an elephant throwing darts at balloons in front of a crowd of people... it would take a lot to convince me he wasn't abused in the process.

It's just sad and unnerving that people take advantage of and abuse animals the way they do.

Oh man.. This is sort of like a dancing bear.. The crowd is amazed, but they don't see what the "trainers" do to the animals to get them to do this trick..
