Ok, for a new site I want to set up a Vanilla forum. I'm running it local now, and I'm impressed by the simpleness, yet powerful software. I'm having a few issues.
When I install an extension (the attachment one) I can't get it to work on my forum..

In the settings I tick the box to enable it, and then it says it's installed.. There's no documentation on the site or in the .zip.. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I'm still debating if I want to use Vanilla for a project I have in mind. It's not going to be a webdesigners/seo/geeky kind of forum, So I'm not sure if my target audience will like the Vanilla interface..

I use it for a soccer association and they like it because it's simple.

They don't give a hoot about smilies to tell you the truth. They just want a place where board members can meet up and talk about certain decisions and get their agendas and whatnot.

I love vanilla for the simplicity when usually forum software has tons of features you don't need. It's a great software for a small group of people to be in touch and talk.

That's another thing.. How does Vanilla handle big amounts of members/threads?
My dutch site alone has thousands of threads, hundreds of thousands of posts and more than a thousand members.. Can Vanilla cope with that?

Smf = crap seo

It is, but I chose to go with SMF Anyway.. that way I can make pretty much an image of my dutch site.
There is an SEO-pack available that does a very good job SEO'ing SMF.. This is, I messed up while installing it on my new site, so I'll have to fix that.

Anyway, back on topic to Vanilla!
