Hi. I just joined and am very excited about this new forum. I really liked the moderators style at the other forum, and look forward to more good stuff.

I have been learning about web design and development for about 1.5 years. I can't get enough of it. I am a married mom with two kids - a 12 yr old girl, and a 16 yr old boy. I am also a high school math teacher, and after 31 years would like to retire and do something totally different - web design and development. This won't just be a hobby, though - this is serious stuff because I still have a family to support (impossible on a pension), so anything I can learn here will be greatly appreciated.
