I would also suggest Dolphin
http://www.boonex.com/products/dolphin/ I have never used it but it looks clean and easy enough to use. -------------------- |

Hmm, Social Networking?
As for a CMS, Choose elgg it looks more robust and easier to handle. This post has been edited by thesealportalteam: Feb 18 2008, 01:52 PM -------------------- We are sorry but complaint.hell is not registered to Heaven Inc.

I like Ning. Very easy to set up. Not a ton of customization but satisfactory. Lots of social elements built in. You get your own subdomain there. It's Free! You can get rid of their Adwords (or replace them with your own) for $20/month. Really good if you want to upload your own music.
You can check out my Ning here: http://peacepromo.ning.com/ (please don't be to critical of my home recordings though) Robert -------------------- |

I went to the ELGG site. It looks pretty darn good. I only knew about Pligg.com, which to my understanding is best as a platform for developers who want to build a custom social media site, and Ning.com for users who just want to have a social media site that has already been developed.
