Web Design Color Trends for Fall 2008!
This season we have 10 new shades of color that have been chosen to be the “hot” new colors for Fall of 2008!
Some of them will fit into a broad array of markets. Others will be more suitable for niche markets. By familiarizing yourself with hot trends, you will be able to impress prospective clients with what is currently IN! So as you begin to plan your new designs, take a look at what color experts and trendsetters are suggesting as the go-to colors!

Blue Iris
Here is a beautiful soft blue that works for both men and women. This blue is tranquil, calming and easy on the eye. You don’t have to be afraid of this color. Use it throughout your next design without worrying if it’s too much of a statement. If you are looking for the perfect blue as an accent, this is it!
Royal Lilac
Royal lilac isn’t just for little girls!! Although, I think you’d have to be particularly selective when using this color. Royal lilac would be a nice choice for most women’s sites. Other uses for this soft purple would be ice cream shops, candy stores, and other sites that don’t take themselves or their topic too seriously.
Shady Glade
Soft seems to be the trend for fall. This soft green is perfectly unisex! It’s subtle without being too washed out. It’s a calming green that can be used as a background and overall color or perfectly suited as an accent. This color is an easy option for anyone that finds color intimidating.
Caribbean Sea
Looking for a intense and exciting blue? Caribbean Blue is perfect. Mix this with other bright primary colors and design a website that will really pop. This is a theme-based color and needs to be used in the right situations such as trying to convey, youthfulness, freshness, comedy or tropical flavors.

Twilight Blue
If you are looking for a blue that is both mesmerizing and serene, twilight blue would be the perfect fit. Bold as a background, and stunning as an accent color. Use this instead of navy for a nice variation.

Great article but the whole having to click through to a second page to up your pageviews really gets on my nerves. There’s no reason why this whole post shouldn’t be on one page.

@Wilbur
I’m sorry to hear that you don’t like to click to a second page. However, most of our users don’t like to scroll 20 million miles down to the end of the article….it’s ANNOYING!
Look at other sites they do the same thing! It has nothing to do with us trying to up our pageviews….in fact, we never even thought of that until you mentioned it.
